Creating homes that Blend Beauty, Comfort, and Functionality

A personalized, functional home that combines modern style with thoughtful ADA considerations, ensuring comfort and accessibility for all while reflecting the unique needs of its inhabitants.

From Vision To Reality

A family in Cincinnati, Ohio has hired me to design their new recent purchase of an unfinished space in a midsize urban neighborhood. One of the family members, the mother, requests that the design revolve around inclusivity and accessibility. The mother navigates life from a wheelchair and needs their home to be completely ADA compliant. It is my job to assess the unfinished space and design accordingly.

This home is fully ADA-compliant, featuring zero-threshold doorways and wide hallways that ensure smooth navigation for the wheelchair user. The kitchen and bathrooms are designed with accessibility in mind, incorporating lowered countertops, roll-in showers, grab bars, and easy-to-reach fixtures.

The concept relaxed and refined, creates a harmonious and inviting atmosphere that is both comfortable and sophisticated. The concept manifests in a space that exudes an easygoing, laid-back vibe while maintaining a sense of elegance and polished aesthetics. This design approach incorporates plush and inviting furnishings, warm and soothing color pallets, and an emphasis on natural materials to create a relaxed ambiance.
