A new Southeast marketing office for Arbor snowboarding and skateboarding company. Their new location will be in Asheville, NC. This company is U.S. based and is a flat hierarchy. Arbor is dedicated to using materials that leave the smallest possible environmental footprint. The overall goal of the project is to create a space with the best LEED score and using environmentally friendly materials.
Arbor is one of the first snow and skateboard action sports brands specifically established to consider the environment in everything they do. The company is for a profit and has donated to numerous groups that protect and restore forests. It has its own nonprofit organization called The Arbor Day Foundation that inspires people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. It has grown to become the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to planting trees, with over one million members, supporters, and valued partners.
The concept sculpted motion draws inspiration from the ever-changing movement of nature. The concept is pulled from the terrains of the outdoors from the curves of the mountain tops to the curved of skateboard trails. The drive of the design is inspired by nature and its natural motion. The goal is to encapsulate the essence of sculpted motion by translating these moments into tangible, sculptural forms that resonate with the observer’s emotions.
